Robin’s work, all made in porcelain, is a combination of domestic, functional objects for use on one hand and contemplative, one-of-a-kind, artwork on the other. He sometimes refers to himself as a Schizophrenic or Bipolar Mudpusher!

The unique, contemplative work includes vases, lidded jars, large decorative plates and bowls along with sculptures made from wheel thrown parts. Robin’s pieces come from a range of idea sources, such as Ceramic History, Geology, World Cultures, Landscape, Gardens, Plants and Painting. They employ a variety of different and unusual decorative processes and are fired in a number of ways in different kilns.
